HEART SAFE – Community CPR & AED

HEART SAFE is a community-centered CPR and AED certification course designed to empower everyday people with the skills and confidence to respond to cardiac emergencies. This approachable, hands-on class is ideal for families, schools, workplaces, churches, and neighborhoods committed to building a safer, more prepared community.

What You Will Learn

CPR for All Ages

Hands-on training in high-quality CPR for:

• Adults

• Infants

Students learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate EMS, perform effective chest compressions, deliver rescue breaths (optional), and adapt techniques for different age groups.

AED Use (Automated External Defibrillator)

Students become confident using an AED—one of the most effective tools in increasing survival from sudden cardiac arrest.
Skills include:

• When and how to use an AED

• Pad placement for adults & pediatrics

• Following voice prompts

• Safety considerations

• Integrating CPR + AED for maximum effectiveness
