Critical Bleeding Control is a focused 2–3 hour hands-on course for people who want practical experience recognizing and controlling life-threatening bleeding before professional help arrives.

Severe bleeding can become life-threatening quickly. This course concentrates on simple priorities, correct technique, and repeated practice rather than dramatic scenarios or complicated theory.

What you will practice

• Recognizing life-threatening bleeding
• Commercial tourniquet application
• Wound packing with gauze and hemostatic dressings
• Direct pressure and pressure dressings
• Junctional bleeding-control techniques
• Casualty positioning and basic safety considerations
• Choosing the next useful action under stress

Hands-on instruction

Students work with trauma manikins, bleeding simulators, tourniquets, gauze, and other commonly used bleeding-control equipment. Instructors provide direct feedback so students can correct technique and repeat the skill.

The course is appropriate for families, schools, churches, workplace safety teams, outdoor groups, caregivers, security personnel, first responders in training, and other people who want practical bleeding-control skills. No medical background is required.
